What we are

LocalHomePro is a referral and matching service. We are not a contractor and we do not perform, supervise or warrant any work. Any contract for work is solely between you and the independent contractor you choose to hire.

Free for homeowners

Requesting quotes is free and does not obligate you to hire anyone. Contractors may pay us a referral fee; we require that this fee not be added to your price.

Vetting

We make reasonable efforts to confirm that partner contractors carry insurance, WSIB coverage and required licences at the time they join, and we remove contractors who receive repeated complaints. We cannot guarantee the quality, timeliness or outcome of any work. Always obtain a written contract, confirm insurance and licensing yourself before work begins, and know your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.

Accuracy of information

Cost guides and price ranges on this site are estimates for general information only and are not quotes. Rebate and program information changes often; verify with the program administrator.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, LocalHomePro is not liable for any damages arising from work performed by contractors or from your use of this website.
